Ross Thornton Jones is an Artist who is based in Raglan, New Zealand. Originally from England, Ross moved to New Zealand in 2009 to live closer to the Ocean and follow his love for Surfing.
After an injury kept Ross out of the water for nearly a year
he picked up a Paint brush, and so started his obsession.
"I'm obsessed with pushing paint, there are fewer things more fulfilling in life"
Well what a year it has been so far!
One silly accident that turned into a major one, resulting in a blood clot to the brain and then a series of Strokes on April 30th, and then months of recovery. Im lucky to still be here and able to paint but I am so bring on Raglan Arts Weekend this Labour weekend. Myself and my ever suffering partner Isa June, have decided to open our own little Studio at 1 Bay View Road Raglan ( BugWorks Creative ) Come and see us and check out some paintings!
